Matthew is responsible for leading Liberty's Asia operations - responsible for Liberty's retail, commercial and specialty business in this region.
Matthew has nearly 30 years' experience in commercial and specialty insurance both in Australia and Asia. Matthew has worked with Liberty for over 20 years, initially joining in 2003 as a Casualty underwriter based in Australia, before moving to Hong Kong and then Singapore to lead the Asia Casualty team.
In April 2024 Liberty introduced a single leadership team across all operations in Asia Pacific, and appointed Matthew to lead this team.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Melbourne.
