THE ROLE:
As an experienced Processing Services Team Supervisor, you will proactively lead, supervise & coach our PSAs to achieve internal KPIs & stakeholder satisfaction. - Leadership - Supervise & monitor team’s work commitments ensuring daily workflows are managed effectively & KPI/SLA maintained. This includes training, coaching, mentoring & developing your team of direct reports as well as all manager responsibilities – recruitment and selection, performance management, training and knowledge management, resource management, reporting & quality checks.
- Underwriting & Claims – Oversee & manage all aspects of processing submissions, policy processing & wordings, claims payments, CAT modelling, loss runs, eFile upload and various other administrative duties. The role will also be assisting team leaders in being an intermediary between other key business units –Operations, IT, Finance, RI, & Legal as required.
- Continuous improvement – Identifying & implementing ways of achieving greater operational efficiency. This will also include driving change management practices within operations.
- Team relationships – Establish & maintain a highly effective and responsive working relationship with direct reports, internal stakeholders & prioritise work commitments to ensure daily workflows are maintained & KPI/SLA’s are delivered.
- Team contribution - Abide by all training guides & contribute to an effective and strong team-work culture designed to help each other grow & develop. Join the team for ongoing training, company & social events & celebrations, even virtually!
- Compliance – Ensure all processes are comply to all legal, statutory & corporate affairs requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES / QUALITIES / SKILLS:
- Qualifications (tertiary, certificate, diploma) in Finance, Accounting, Business, Insurance or other related discipline is highly desirable.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisor role within General Insurance/and or Insurance broking industry.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in handling end-to-end processing of transactional tasks preferably gained in the insurance industry.
- Previous claims management and/or broader insurance experience ideal.
- Sound English communications skills (written & spoken) with excellent attention to detail & accuracy skills.
- Microsoft Excel & SAP experience ideal, along with other relevant IT systems.
- Engaged & committed to continual process improvements.
- A team player with strong stakeholder engagement skills & willingness to be flexible with work arrangements according to business needs.
