Vanessa was appointed Senior Vice President- Chief Risk Officer Australia and Head of Digital Strategy- Asia Pacific
Vanessa joined Liberty Asia Pacific in 2001. Prior to her recent appointment she led the Asia Pacific Claims Team from 2004 through to 2021.
While leading the Claims Team she's held a number of roles within the organisation including Legal Counsel, Senior Vice President of Operations, Technology, Strategy and Change Management and was appointed to lead Liberty’s digital transformation in July 2020. Having managed a broad range of business functions, Vanessa is an integral member of Liberty’s senior leadership team.
Vanessa has worked for a number of Australian insurers and handled claims in jurisdictions throughout Australia, Asia and the USA. She's passionate about risk, all things digital and looking for ways that these can add value to customers and Liberty’s business.
